Do you have to be a member to hire a room?
No.
How much does it cost to hire the room?
The cost of hiring a room varies depending on the room required, the day, the length of hire and equipment requirement.
Once room availability is confirmed with you we can provide an exact cost.
Do you provide Catering?
The club currently has no kitchen or food preparation area but is able to provide a contact details of recommended local caterers.
Can we have a bouncy castle?
The club does permit the use of small inflatable bouncy castles at childrens parties and inside the concert room only.
Do you allow 18th Birthday parties?
The club does not take bookings for teenage birthday parties. 13th – 19th birthdays are not permitted.
Do you allow Childrens Birthday parties?
Parties for children under the age of 12 are allowed.
Do you have a resident DJ?
No. We don’t have or recommend any DJ’s for hire and leave this for the hirer to source their own.
Can we have a catering van park outside for food?
Yes. This is possible subject to the club having the available space in the car park for the catering van to be sited. This should be the discussed at the point of booking.
Can we hire the clubs secret garden for our event?
The club is unable to hire the secret garden out for private events during usual club trading hours.
Is the club wheelchair accessible.
The club is all on one level with no stairs.
Can we arrive early to set up for our party/event/wedding?
This will be discussed at the point of booking and may depend on what events/parties have taken place the night before. If you require access to the club to drop food and equipment outside of the clubs opening hours this will incur an additional cost.
What is included in the Hire Charge?
Bar staff are included within the room hire cost and the room comes equipped with house/room lighting which is dimmable. Should you require the use of the clubs PA and speakers this will incur additional cost – please speak to us at the point of booking regarding the hire of sound equipment.
Is there Car Parking?
The club has its own private car parking with space for around 8 vehicles and is occupied on a first come, first served basis. Currently there are 2 car parks close by, 1 on Caroline St and 1 on Exhibition Road that are pay and display operated.
What time is Last Orders/Closing Time
On a Friday and Saturday last orders are 11:30. Bar Extensions are possible but incur additional cost along with club board and licensing approval.
